One Formula 1 Race
Algorithm
Machined race data have automatically been allocated to categories. Drivers are sorted by their results at each of category. There is ancient Olympic scoring system used again; if there are more drivers with the same result all of them achieve same score there. Because of lower number of season races, lower general endurance of cars and wider competition I set slight advantage for older involvements into the algorithm.
Drivers which are not matching parameters of the category have not been scoring there.
Thereafter the average score from each category has been calculated for every involved driver; minimal and maximal scores are cut off.
Total average score has given the ladder position of each driver at two separated groups – race qualification and race itself.
